Fighting Terror: Innovative Companies Take Aim at Fresh Solutions for Global Defense

New York, NY – June 14, 2017 – NetworkNewsWire.com News Coverage:  As headlines of terrorist attacks and public shooting incidents dominate national and global news, it’s little wonder that national security and defense represent big business in today’s market. Among defense stocks that stand out, Patriot One Technologies, Inc. (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF), Axon Enterprise, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAXN), Siemens AG (OTC: SMAWF), Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) and Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) are developing innovative solutions to help solve the world’s security problems.

One differentiated player within the defense industry is Patriot One Technologies, Inc. (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF). In light of increased global concern of the threat of terrorist attacks, this company’s solutions are more relevant than ever.

Engaged in creating powerful solutions that minimize security risks, Patriot One employs novel radar technology for the detection of concealed weapons. The company’s disruptive PATSCAN technology, the first system of its kind and the next-generation version of the company’s award-winning NForce CMR1000 software and radar solution, is an innovative cognitive microwave radar system designed to instantly detect concealed weapons—even on moving targets.

This award-winning technology was developed through a NATO-funded project at McMaster University and is the first budget-friendly solution to be developed for active shooter prevention. The patent-pending solution boasts machine learning properties, which enable it to learn and identify new threats.

PATSCAN identifies individuals who are carrying weapons—including guns, knives or suicide vests—by analyzing metal content and then relating that content to a database of known weapon signatures. The system’s detection is real-time and fully computer-based, and because the solution is small, it can be covertly placed in doorways or hallways as a preventative measure against attacks in public places, such as stadiums, concert venues, schools, airports and more.
Unlike other weapons detection technology on the market, with Patriot One’s products, subject compliance ceases to be an issue, since individuals don’t know they are being scanned. Additionally, privacy concerns are eliminated since the solution does not generate an image of those it scans. Wherever PATSCAN is deployed, security personnel are automatically alerted if an active threat enters the premises, and the system has an impressive overall accuracy rate of 93 percent.

As Patriot One Technologies advances on its mission to become a world-class enterprise to increase public safety and deter acts of violence worldwide, the company leverages vast expertise in high-frequency electromagnetics, counter-terrorism, conflict resolution, government/corporate interface, sensor development, proactive security and business development. The company recently added to its board of directors John Gillies, a 33-year veteran of national and international security and intelligence.

Axon Enterprise, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAXN) (formerly TASER International) is also engaged in providing fresh technologies that protect life via a network of devices, applications and people aimed at helping law enforcement become smarter and safer. The company’s innovations began with its TASER electrical weapons back in the 1990s, and today, Axon continues to safeguard life in pioneering ways with its expanding suite of connected devices and apps, which includes TASER smart weapons, body cameras, digital evidence management tools, in-car video solutions, records management systems, artificial intelligence automation and more. Axon’s technologies work collaboratively to automate outdated law enforcement processes so that officers can more quickly and effectively find the truth and serve their communities.

A significant aspect of operations for Siemens AG (OTC: SMAWF) is its defense-related solutions for both government and military, including offering Siemens PLM Software solutions to aerospace and defense agencies. Siemens boasts more than 55 years of defense collaboration and, as a partner in the security space, spans both the physical and virtual worlds as it integrates information and communication technology with industrial infrastructure, modernizing information technology and transforming operations and administration for national security bodies. The company is able to synchronize product and material life cycles, accelerate complicated global logistics systems, optimize border control for enhanced safety and speed, dynamically provision virtual access rights, deliver powerful military communication networks and revolutionize marine systems.

Part of the current defense-related innovations at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is the company’s pioneering efforts in fiber lasers. Lockheed Martin is demonstrating that laser weapon systems can effectively halt land, air and sea targets and can be designed compactly and power-efficiently enough for tactical platforms on the move, supplying almost limitless ammunition with light-speed response.

The company’s technology is capable of defending against small rockets, artillery shells and mortars, small unmanned aerial vehicles, small attack boats and lightweight ground vehicles that are up to a mile away. As power levels increase for fiber lasers, Lockheed Martin’s systems will further be able to combat even larger threats across even greater distances. These systems can also serve as a force multiplier when operated in combination with kinetic energy systems.

Technology and innovation leader Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) also specializes in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions. Offering a huge array of defense and security related products and services, Raytheon is focused on global defense, including homeland protection, defending allies and protecting trade. The company’s air and missile defense systems include proven interceptors, radars and space sensors that work in concert to offer protection against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, aircraft and other threats. The company’s SM-3 missile and Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle successfully defeat warheads while they are still in space, and Raytheon’s JLENS aerostats offer regional defense from 10,000 feet for up to 30 day at a time. The company’s long-range radars further offer round-the-clock monitoring throughout the world.

The increasing frequency of terrorist actions and other significant public attacks in recent years has put security concerns at the forefront for the world’s citizens. A study of data from 1966 to date reveals a significant increase in mass shootings in the U.S. that outpaces any other country. Statistics for the 46-year period show that, while America represents only 5% of the world’s population, it accounts for 31% of all public mass shootings. According to data from the FBI, there were 160 incidents from 2000 to 2013, resulting in 486 deaths and 557 wounded. More recently, in 2014 and 2015, there were nearly six times as many incidents compared to 2000 and 2001. The disturbing increase in violence suggests that there will be increasingly more incidents if effective preventative measures aren’t taken.

The good news is that innovations offered by these companies represent powerful tools as nations fight back against threats and work to restore peace of mind for the public.

Patriot One Marks 3-Months of Global PATSCAN Sales with $2.7M in Signed Agreements

Concealed Weapons Detection System Maker Exceeds 90% of 2017 Order Target

TORONTO, CANADA - 06/13/17 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of the award-winning PATSCAN CMR™ concealed weapons detection system, is pleased to report that in the three months since product marketing began during the lead up to the ISC West trade show in Las Vegas, confirmed sales commitments now top $2.7 million.

Patriot One sales efforts are currently focused on categories including houses of worship, academic institutions, event centres, casinos, commercial offices, hotel properties, government agencies and other locations at high risk of terrorist attack. Orders have been received from locations spanning four continents, and new territorial opportunities are opening as reseller influence grows.

Patriot One President and CTO Dinesh Kandanchatha notes, "Our roll-out program initially conceived finalizing our engineering in early spring in order to meet Industry Canada and FCC certification requirements by late summer. This timing also aligns with our go-to-market packaging initiative and expectation that we will begin shipments to end-user installations by Q4 of this year."

As a result of recent sales performance, as well as new agreements with resellers in Canada, the US, the UK, and South Africa, Patriot One is now receiving requests to employ special waivers allowing for the immediate deployment of PATSCAN CMR to users that have a demonstrated need under certification exemption guidelines.

"We have informed our supply chain partners of the accelerating demand, and I am confident that our scalable manufacturing processes will be well equipped to fulfil our orders," says Kandanchatha. "It means a lot of work ahead, but it is a highly positive and not wholly unanticipated situation at this phase of our strategic growth plan."

Martin Cronin, Patriot One CEO, notes, "Proving out demand is a key factor for any early stage company with an exciting new product. The surge we are experiencing reflects the outcomes of repeated successful demonstrations of the system's capability. The word on Patriot One's weapons detection solution is spreading rapidly."

Cronin adds, "All of us at Patriot One Technologies are honoured to have the opportunity to deploy a product with such value as a catalyst for positive change. To have an opportunity to improve public safety and to save lives as a basis for a successful business venture is something we all are very proud of."

SENGEX has been awarded and maintains contracts within a number of U.S. government organizations to facilitate ongoing strategic and technical consulting services. In addition to direct contract capability, SENGEX maintains continuous relationships with a number of prime contractors on a preferred basis enabling potential clients to also acquire SENGEX services as a subcontractor. Clients include a number of agencies under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Defense and related intelligence community organizations.

Patriot One President and CTO Dinesh Kandanchatha notes, "Patriot One has seen huge demand in the market related to the PATSCAN CMR technology. Given our engineering resources are firmly concentrated on manufacturing scalability, new product evolutions, and advancing our weapons identification programs, we have determined our best approach is to focus on relationships with resellers who have committed sales, engineering, and financial resources to the promotion of PATSCAN CMR. This joint partnership with our resellers will guarantee that our clients will receive the best possible solution aimed at ensuring that we achieve our primary goal of ending the loss of life and property due to the unlawful use of guns, knives or explosive devices."

Conversations with SENGEX began in early March of this year allowing for a period of due diligence which culminated with Patriot One's award as winners of the Anti-Terrorism -- Force Protection category of the Security Industry Association's New Product Showcase in Las Vegas. Since receiving the award, discussions advanced quickly towards preparations for SENGEX to begin presenting PATSCAN CMR to a number of select federal agencies.

"The addition of Patriot One Technologies solutions to the SENGEX portfolio complements and enhances our early-warning threat detection offerings for DoD and government organizations," said Dave Boulos, SENGEX Director of Marketing and Business Development. "SENGEX concentrates on providing solutions that can detect threats and track their movement that would otherwise be missed or circumvented by conventional entryway detection solutions. Inclusion of the Patriot One PATSCAN CMR in our offerings fits well with the need to provide protection for our most precious resource -- human life."

Patriot One's Kandanchatha adds, "We are excited to begin presenting to specific federal agencies with immediate need. We will work with our partners to secure FCC waivers to ensure rapid installation at those federal departments where time is of the essence for deployment. It is our plan that the initial commitment of 50 units ship as fast as we can prepare them, potentially being installed as quickly as late summer -- much faster than any of our previous projections indicated. Our team is absolutely ready for the job ahead, and fully committed to solving the dilemma presented by the increasingly deadly acts of public violence which we hope to help bring to an end."

Patriot One Obtains Purchase Agreement with Reseller Serving U.S. Government and Military

TORONTO, CANADA - 05/10/17 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of the revolutionary award-winning PATSCAN CMR concealed weapons detection system, today announced a reseller agreement with Information Technology Communications contracting firm JJB Federal LLC and its specialty sales division UnitedEye Inc., based in the Washington, DC area.

Patriot One CEO Martin Cronin said, "We are pleased to have entered into a reseller agreement with JJB Federal, a highly credible industry partner. With today's announcement, and in just four weeks since our launch in Las Vegas, we have now achieved a number of contractual commitments totalling over $1.1 million USD. Access to government and military contracts require years of experience and an established network of contacts in any region; Washington DC is particularly unique and complex. The JJB Federal team has the connections, reach and proven experience to accelerate Patriot One product sales. We are delighted to welcome JJB Federal to our growing sales network, and to help protect the public and those who serve."

Having initially taken note of Patriot One at the International Chiefs of Police Conference (IACP) in October 2016, and upon seeing live product demonstrations of Patriot One's PATSCAN CMR system at the recent ISC West event, JJB Federal Manager Marshal Plotner commented, "The emergence of this technology is a breakthrough in advanced threat detection that positively identifies those with intentions to cause harm; who, up until this technology arrived would go undetected until the threat was imminent. With this heightened capability, we are now able to proactively react to an aggressor and, simultaneously, protect potential targets, bystanders and/or property. The added strength and advantage that Patriot One's CMR1000 brings is crucial in disrupting violence and safeguarding the populace. To say this faculty is simply necessary is to greatly understate its impact!"

Cronin added, "We will be shipping several units to JBB Federal in support of demonstrations to U.S. government agencies. Our reseller agreement includes an initial commitment of 50 units, and we anticipate very strong federal interest and demand to follow."

Mr. Plotner adds, "JJB Federal, LLC. and UnitedEye, Inc. have a history of supporting our federal government and men and women in uniform both at home and abroad. Our desire to serve our nation is seconded by our desire to protect it. This partnership with Patriot One gives us an increased and unique capacity to augment existing security measures and to offer new capabilities and security for the public. We see our relationship with Patriot One as the instrument with which to offer counter-threat protection in any location with entry and exit points where there is a mass gathering; educational institutions, financial institutions, public transit locations, domestic municipalities, just to name a few."

About JJB Federal. LLC JJB Federal is a veteran-owned Information Technology Communications contracting company. Patriot One Delivers Message from its President

Company summarizes Q1 and offers insights on upcoming events

TORONTO, CANADA - 05/02/2017 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary award-winning concealed weapons detection system, is pleased to provide the following message from Company President and CTO Dinesh Kandanchatha.

Dear Shareholders, partners and stakeholders,

As President of Patriot One, I am pleased to provide an update of the Company's accomplishments in the first quarter of 2017 and the milestones we expect to achieve in the upcoming quarter.

The start of 2017 was marked by a number of significant events for the Company. First was our installation of demonstration showcases involving several core verticals targeted by Patriot One through 2017 and 2018, including hospitality/gaming, entertainment, and houses of worship. Beyond effectively demonstrating Patriot One's technology, these showcases garnered significant interest from local media and the broader security community. Additionally, these live installations provided valuable opportunities to further refine Patriot One's cognitive microwave radar system in real-world conditions. Over an extended field trial period, the system successfully and consistently detected concealed weapons with zero false negatives and a false positive rate of less than 5 per cent.

Next, Patriot One was honoured to receive a prestigious award from the Security Industry Association (SIA) for best new counter terrorism/force protection product, as evaluated by security leaders from some of the world's largest security organizations. The SIA presented the award during the ISC West conference in Las Vegas -- one of America's largest security technology conferences. During the event, the Company also hosted two informative panel sessions, which included representatives from the Company's newly announced business affiliates at Mutual Safe of South Africa and the University of North Dakota. These experts also shared their insights on Patriot One's website testimonial page.

To support Patriot One's central aim to deliver products in Q4 2017, the Company has intensified pre-sales preparations as demonstrated by a significant backlog of pending orders. In fact, as of today, Patriot One's purchase commitments exceed the Company's 2017 target production volume.

To achieve Patriot One's product delivery goals, a significant effort over the next 60 days will focus on meeting specific certification obligations. Internal testing results of our technology through our rigorous Quality Assurance process indicate our production system can meet or exceed all the requirements for both FCC and Industry Canada certification while meeting our commitment to maintain the highest possible standard of efficacy. Currently, our production team is deep in the process of completing the documentation and system requirements to submit for certification before the end of Q2.

Concurrent to these efforts, Patriot One is in conversations with three of the global security market's largest system integrators. New members have been added to the Patriot One team to support the Company's system training and deployment program through integration partnerships. Overall, the Company's production, engineering, marketing and sales programs are well positioned to execute a planned ramp up through the second half of 2017 and into 2018.

Lastly, we have registered the trademark PATSCAN to protect branding activities that will underpin an expanded product line of detection technologies based on Patriot One's Cognitive Microwave Radar (CMR) technology. Patriot One recently announced its successful award of a federal NSERC (Natural Sciences Engineering Research Council) grant that will support existing research and development dollars to accelerate the Company's new PATSCAN CMR covert concealed weapons detection system for fixed, mobile and wearable applications and increase the manufacturing margins of Patriot One's current technology design.

In closing, I thank our Board for their counsel and guidance through this foundational year, as well as the Company's many investors, both long-standing and those new to Patriot One, for their valuable feedback and support in the first quarter of 2017.

We are excited by the Company's achievements and prospects, and are committed to our ongoing mission to generate significant results and shareholder returns going forward.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD

The opportunity is being undertaken with a well established and industry leading organization recognized as a Tier 1 Systems Integrator with offices and facilities around the globe. Patriot One has entered into an agreement which provides for a technical evaluation by both parties to identify operational efficiencies and opportunities employing Patriot One’s concealed weapons detection software and related hardware components. This will be accomplished through a series of integration tests with the partner.

Both parties have indicated a willingness in principle to enter into a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) relationship whereby Patriot One may appoint the partner as a sales representative for several potential major markets. The terms and conditions of such a commercial relationship are planned for discussion throughout the evaluation period.

Company CEO, Martin Cronin notes, “Working with major commercial partners exactly aligns with our business model, as it offers extraordinarily attractive opportunities to propel our product roll-out and holds the potential to drive significant awareness of our product’s ability to decrease the menace of random public violence. We are benefitting from a period of intensifying interest and have greatly appreciated inquiries from a number of leading integrators, major potential distributors and resellers from literally around the globe. We attribute much of this interest to our recent and highly successful award-winning debut at ISC West in Las Vegas. Its an exciting time at Patriot One and we thank everyone for their ongoing commitment and interest in our endeavour.”

Today he is the founding partner and Chairman of Ridge Global, a risk management and cybersecurity firm in Washington.

Martin Cronin, CEO and Director of Patriot One Technologies, Inc., notes "This is a very proud day for our entire team at Patriot One Technologies. Gov. Ridge's remarkable career has provided him with an extraordinary perspective into the many complex issues in the security industry today. His strategic insight and access throughout the sector are an immense asset to our efforts both at home and abroad. Without reserve, I am confident in stating that today's appointment is a major milestone in our corporate growth, strategic planning ability, and depth of leadership. On behalf of our entire team I wish to welcome Gov. Ridge onboard, and personally look forward to working together to make Patriot One the leader in weapons detection technology around the globe."

The panel of security experts will discuss the steps they are taking to deter, detect and defend against today's threats of terrorism and active shooter violence. To find out more, please visit the ISC West website at: http://www.iscwest.com/Education/Vendor-Solutions/#.

Gov. Ridge was instrumental as a thought leader and keynote speaker at Patriot One's launch at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in San Diego in October of 2016. During that event, Gov. Ridge spoke passionately on the need for new technology solutions in the security sector, stating the need for a practical combination of technology innovation and smart practices to overcome the growing threat to personal security worldwide. A video of his comments from the event can be viewed here.

As a direct result of the previously announced engagement of Ridge Global as a strategic advisory resource, Governor Ridge further determined to more closely and personally assist in the development efforts of Patriot One, which ultimately led to today's announcement.

Following the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, Tom Ridge became the first Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and, on January 24, 2003, became the first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During his DHS tenure, Secretary Ridge worked with more than 180,000 employees from a combined 22 agencies to create an agency that facilitated the flow of people and goods, instituted layered security at air, land and seaports, developed a unified national response and recovery plan, protected critical infrastructure, integrated new technology and improved information sharing worldwide. Tom Ridge served as Secretary of this historic and critical endeavor until February 1, 2005. Before the events of September 11th, Tom Ridge was twice elected Governor of Pennsylvania. Patriot One and University of North Dakota To Commence Concealed Weapons Detection Evaluation

Campus Police Chief a Key Advocate for Tech Solution to Balance Rights and Safety of Students and Staff

TORONTO, CANADA - 03/15/17 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary concealed weapons detection system, is very pleased to announce it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ('MOU") with the University of North Dakota ("UND") for a real-world pilot study aimed at evaluating product efficacy in this active public environment.

UND is a public research university located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The campus is made up of 240 buildings (6.4 million square feet) on 550 acres. Over 15,000 students from North Dakota as well as all 50 states and over 60 other nations attend classes on the UND campus each year.

The installation of the Patriot One system in a location yet to be determined on campus, will provide for a period of technology configuration and data collection. Upon successful completion of the study, it is the intent of both parties to explore a commercial arrangement that may expand the scope of the technology solution to encompass additional facilities and locations at the University.

Head of Campus Public Safety, Eric Plummer, Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Chief of Police (UND), states, "I became extremely interested in this technology during my attendance at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in San Diego late last year, and immediately saw how this technology could greatly benefit the University. The ability to protect the campus community would be transformed by a non-intrusive perimeter to control weapons access on campus without impinging on the civil rights of our community. I believe this solution provides us the potential to provide that ability. In my position, my mandate is to identify, implement and manage many important safety procedures for the University and as such we are excited about implementing this solution."

Company CEO, Martin Cronin notes, "Chief Plummer has been a great driving force in moving this effort forward. We are looking forward to mobilizing our team to North Dakota in order to get the NForce CMR1000 software solution and related hardware installed and operational. We have some coordination details to conclude in advance, but I believe that these will be handled in short order as we are all keen to see this product in action and preventing potential senseless acts of violence."

Patriot One Partners with Prominent Jewish Community Center to Deploy Concealed Weapons Detection System

TORONTO, CANADA - 02/22/17 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary concealed weapons detection system, is extremely pleased to announce the execution of an agreement paving the way for a first-in-kind installation of its NForce CMR1000 Concealed Weapons Detection System at The Shul of Bal Harbor ('the Shul") located in Miami's Surfside neighbourhood (www.theshul.org).

The purpose of the first installation of Patriot One's NForce Concealed Weapons Detection system is to prove the accuracy and consistency of concealed weapons detection in a real-world setting.

THE SHUL OF BAL HARBOR JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER, FLORIDA

Located on Collins Avenue since the early 1990s, the Shul's current 34,000 sq./ft. structure is the center for Jewish activities for the adjacent communities and thousands of international tourists that visit or make South Florida their second home. The Shul's commitment to the highest standards of leadership, learning and outreach is evident through its programs, classes and services, which will soon enjoy a significant boost upon completion of a large building expansion. The Shul is based on the ideology of Chabad Lubavitch, which is one of the world's best known Hasidic movements and is well known for its outreach. It is the largest Hasidic group and Jewish religious organization in the world with more than 3,600 institutions in over 1,000 cities, spanning more than 80 countries and all 50 American states (www.chabad.org).

Shaya G., Director of the Shul's Security, and a representative to the U.S. Dept. of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security (OSAC) and other UGOV Agencies comments, "When we first heard of the work Patriot One is undertaking in Orlando, we were immediately intrigued and set out to learn more. Our facilities are places of worship and academia and we'd prefer the use of Patriot One's technology to maintain our open door/welcoming policy as opposed to body searches and magnetometers. Yet, as evidenced in recent news reports where the current administration has come to publicly recognize that we are a community at risk, the opportunity to covertly lessen our threat exposure and increase our safety perimeter demands to be investigated fully. With that in mind, we are delighted that Patriot One could soon be introducing its product at one of our important community facilities. We truly welcome a mutually successful outcome in this venture."

Company CEO, Martin Cronin notes, "We are grateful to Shaya and his team for their professional approach and rapid grasp of the potential of the Patriot One concealed weapons detection system. This agreement calls for a reasonable trial period which if successful, is aimed at leading to further commercial orders. This is a perfect example of how the Patriot One concealed weapons detection system can fundamentally alter, and rapidly change the ability to manage threat exposure within communities and organizations across the nation."

Patriot One Provides NForce CMR 1000 Software Solution and Related Hardware Product Update

TORONTO, CANADA - 02/22/17 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary concealed weapons detection system, is pleased to announce that its NForce CMR1000 software solution and related hardware, has completed internal quality assurance in preparation for a major trade exhibition in April.

The hardware already carries the "CE Mark" which certifies that the product has met EU health, safety and environmental requirements that ensure consumer and workplace safety and allows manufacturers to circulate industrial products freely within the internal market of the EU. The system is now entering pre-certification testing for FCC compliance ahead of its product launch at ISC West (International Security Conference) in Las Vegas in April. The product has also been vetted as ready for inclusion in the prestigious New Product Showcase at that conference.

Patriot One is now optimising its software to enhance performance characteristics and continues to collect additional weapons "signatures" for entry into the NForce proprietary database library. This is being achieved through an extensive law enforcement network which provides controlled access to weapons collections globally. The Company also advised today that it has now identified a manufacturer in the USA that has the capacity to meet the initial demand forecasts of its NForce CMR1000 production needs through 2018.

"One of the most noticeable recent developments is a sleek new profile which will enable greater installation versatility in the field," notes Dinesh Kandanchatha, President and CTO of Patriot One Technologies Inc.

In addition, Patriot One has recently developed valuable new IP regarding antenna design, which will result in the filing of additional patents further protecting its technological advantage in the marketplace.

Along with the previously announced plans to launch a demonstration location in Orlando, Florida, Patriot One has initiated a test site at its new head office in Burlington, Ontario where it has begun ushering strategic groups through the facility demonstrating this ground breaking new technology. The presentation conclusively establishes the NForce CRM1000 software solution's ability to identify a weapon (threat) from a non-threat. The private tours include an in-depth look at the science behind the process and an introduction to its user-friendly interface which enables anyone to operate the system with ease; not just security personnel. An exciting new feature of the user interface is the ability to combine a simultaneous camera image of an individual as an alert is triggered.

"Our engineering team have worked long and hard to take this lab proven technology and transform it into a commercial product. This is a momentous achievement in our corporate development," added Kandanchatha. "In preparation, our supply relationships are already being locked down, and we are satisfied that we have a robust design ready to meet both customer requirements and volume expectations."

Patriot One Selected for New Product Showcase by Security Industry Association at ISC West

Patriot One and its NForce CMR1000 solution and radar device will be showcased at ISC West in Las Vegas from April 5-7 under the Anti-Terrorism / Force Protection Category

TORONTO, CANADA - 02/16/2017 - Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary concealed weapons detection system, has been accepted and recognized by the Security Industry Association (SIA) and ISC West to participate in the New Product Showcase in Las Vegas, NV. The New Product Showcase is the premier platform for security professionals to evaluate new products and technologies for use in security applications.

Patriot One’s NForce CMR1000 software solution will be featured in the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection category as part of the New Product Showcase at ISC West, the largest security industry trade show in the U.S. The event will be held at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas from April 5-7th.

“We are honored and excited to be accepted into the New Product Showcase, that benchmarks us against the best products in the market for weapons detection” said Martin Cronin, CEO & Director of Patriot One Technologies. “We are pleased to demonstrate to the judges an innovative and disruptive technology that will be a real step forward in public security.”

The first-of-a-kind NForce CMR1000 is an easily-concealed, cost-effective and non-invasive full-body scanning technology that is practical and safe. The device can covertly detect on-body concealed weapons (rifles, handguns, knives, grenades, explosive vests) at key access points and doorways of weapons-restricted buildings and facilities. The solution is designed to be installed behind walls, in ceilings and in floors, and may be installed to notify security professionals prior to an individual carrying a weapon into a building. In addition, the NForce CMR1000 solution can be integrated with other access point security systems to assist in locking down doors, turnstiles, elevators and other access point gating systems.

Patriot One’s NForce CMR1000 solution utilizes very low power microwave emissions that, through machine learning algorithms, are able to target, identify and notify security professionals and law enforcement of concealed threats.

“We’ve designed this technology for use in any public or private facility to effectively manage and restrict unlawful weapons access,” added Cronin. “Our mission is to reduce the spread of violence caused by unlawful use of weapons through our superior detection technology that identifies concealed weapons, even on moving targets in real time.”

Patriot One Issues President's Letter to Shareholders

TORONTO, CANADA -- 01/09/17 -Patriot One Technologies Inc., (TSX.V: PAT) (OTCQB: PTOTF) (FRA: 0PL) (“Patriot One” or the “Company”), developer of a revolutionary concealed weapons detection system, is pleased to issue the following letter from Patriot One President, Dinesh Kandanchatha.

To our partners, affiliates, stakeholders and shareholders,

As President of Patriot One, I am pleased to provide this update regarding the Company's accomplishments to-date, and the milestones we look forward to achieving in 2017.

The end of 2016 was marked by three significant events. First, our participation at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference where the best and brightest in law enforcement meet to learn and network. We had excellent attendance and response from some of the worlds most respected law enforcement leaders for our corporate launch and CMR product technology introduction. This was followed in November with a very successful public market offering. Lastly, we are pleased to report that the company can readily meet its near term projected financial obligations with over $2M in working capital in its treasury.

December 2016 saw us enter a strategic partnership with the expert security team at Ridge Global LLC. Gov. Ridge, chairman of Ridge Global and the first U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, endorsed our platform stating, "As we have seen in the Western world, our adversaries will continue to pursue so-called 'soft targets' such as transportation hubs, sporting venues, restaurants and office buildings. Almost by definition, democracies are soft targets. Patriot One has developed powerful technologies to mitigate these ongoing challenges while at the same time being less obtrusive to event attendees. Ridge Global is proud to work with Martin and his team to bring these innovations to the marketplace." The team at Patriot One plans to work closely with Ridge Global for guidance with significant opportunities within key government departments, educational institutions, and industry associations.

Internal projections for the first two quarters of 2017 are currently on-track for delivering product milestones and closing agreements with our first strategic clients and reseller partners. Q1 will also focus on engaging with key regulatory agencies such as the FCC in the US, and related international establishments. Q2 will see the Company exhibit at ISC West, the leading security trade show in the U.S. with over 28,000 industry professionals attending the annual event in Las Vegas. 2017 heralds the commencement of ongoing outreach to potential clients both in North America and internationally. Our objective is to secure purchase orders from strategic clients over the next 60 days. It is fair to say that our technology has captured the attention of security professionals across the globe and we aim to leverage and transform that interest into meeting quantifiable sales targets.

International interest in our technology continues to grow and we are expanding our sales presence to address this opportunity. The United Kingdom has traditionally been in the forefront of advances in security technology, and as such, it is a high value strategic market for us. Our newest team members in London are in the process of establishing an office and demonstration site to meet the increasing attention from British buyers.

While this letter was being written, the recent tragedy in Fort Lauderdale reminds us once again of the ever-present danger of senseless and horrific violence perpetrated against ordinary citizens going about their daily lives. Our hearts got out to the victims and their families as we redouble our efforts to bring forward new solutions for public safety.

In closing, I want to thank our Board for their counsel and guidance through this foundational year for Patriot One. I would also like to thank our many investors, both founders and those new to Patriot One, for their valued feedback and support in 2016. In return, we are committed to building a strong and sustainable business with the continued help of all those who have placed their confidence in our ability to deliver results.

Active Threats

The United States Department of Homeland Security defines the active shooter as “an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area; in most cases, active shooters use firearms and there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims.”

Active Threat’s are a stark reality of law enforcement today, and we have very little to prepare and protect us from these individuals and groups. Most incidents occur at locations in which the killers find little impediment in pressing their attack. Locations are generally described as soft targets, that is, they carry limited security measures to protect members of the public. Why aren’t these locations protected? Cost and availability of effective technology are two main reasons.

Active Shooter events never end with acceptable outcomes. In most instances, shooters commit suicide, are shot by police, or surrender when confrontation with responding law enforcement becomes unavoidable. According to New York City Police Department (NYPD) statistics, 46 percent of active shooter incidents are ended through the application of force by police or security; 40 percent end in the shooter’s suicide, 14 percent of the time the shooter surrenders and, in less than 1 percent of cases, the violence ends with the attacker fleeing.

It is clear that once an Active Shooting event is underway nobody wins. The key is to short circuit the event through prevention technologies and security protocols.

Current technology requires compliance on the part of the target subject. With a fixed installation at a secure facility, perimeter controls require costly operator manpower and can be avoided during a dedicated assault. Individual screening with equipment that requires line-of-site and millimeter bandwidth scans are slow and prone to operator errors or false-positive results along with increasing privacy concerns. Expensive and slow, increased deployment of large fixed detection equipment will inevitably shift threats to “softer” less secure targets.

Practical detectors must be reasonably priced, small, covertly located, simple to operate, safe to health, have an intelligent yes/no decision making capability, and possess a low false alarm rate in the presence of strong relative interference and a background of innocuous normally carried metal.

Patriot One Technologies in partnership with researchers from Canada’s McMaster University have developed a solution that employs near field radar in a manner that addresses all the factors outlined above in a cost-effective system that is being developed for commercial application in public locations within a realistically short time-frame.

Radar Technology on a Chip

chipAdvances in radar technology leads to weapons detection adaptation

Semiconductor technology now routinely allows microwave circuits to be packaged into Integrated Circuits (IC).
Microwave radars have been in military service for years, but not widely deployed in commercial or consumer applications because of expense. Until now.
A variety of applications have arisen, such as liquid-level measurement, motion detection, door openers, intrusion alarms and police speed meters.

Effectiveness

The most widespread use of both microwave and millimeter-wave radar is automotive safety devices, including adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, collision warning, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, and backup object detection.

A key advantage of microwave radar is its fine resolution in detecting small objects.
A multi-receiver version permits even finer precision in detecting objects and at wider angles.
In some instances both receiver and transceiver are on a single chip.
The Patriot One technology currently offers a high-grade effective operating range of approximately 2 meters (6.5 feet).
